Internship Overview:

Department Overview:   

The Retail Innovation Center of Excellence leverages innovation to speed up the delivery of in-store digital and technology solutions that can be offered to Ahold Delhaize USA’s local brands, delivering on omnichannel ambitions to serve the Connected Customer.  

 

Primary Purpose:  

  •  Work under the Director and provide support to Initiative Testing Managers throughout the lifecycle of an initiative. 

  • Support the Initiative Teams in analyzing data from in-store tests, update the Scoping Document/business case for the initiative to incorporate test findings into updated value case and cost to deploy estimates. 

  • Work with analysts from the RI CoE Innovation Pipeline Team to ensure access to updated ADUSA data which is needed during the design and test phase of an initiative 

  • Team with RI Training and Business Collaboration Managers to communicate value of initiatives to brands and generate buy-in for solution adoption 

  • Design test to prove/disprove hypotheses to include working with brands to select the number of stores and duration of tests, identify store resources/roles required, set test guardrails, determine method of measuring metrics during tests, and define success criteria 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Working towards a degree in Management, Business, Information Technology or related field.  

  • Experience working in a collaborative group setting   

  • Experience using analytical thinking and problem-solving skills   

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, appropriately and effectively   

  • Proficient to advanced experience with MS Suite
